Moodbidri, Oct 11: As a prelude to ‘Alva’s Nudisiri – 2009’, a consultative meeting of well-wishers will be organized at Dr Shivaram Karant Auditorium, Vidyagiri here, at 10.30 am on Sunday October 11. Registrar of Mangalore University, Dr K Chinnappa Gowda, will address the gathering. Dr Mohan Alva will be present.
Since the last five years, Alva’s Education Foundation has been presenting the national convention named ‘Nudisiri’, depicting the richness of language, art and culture, annually. ‘Nudisiri’ has succeeded in winning over the hearts of the people of the region. This year’s ‘Nudisiri’ will be organized at Vidyagiri here, on November 6, 7 and 8, under the presidentship of Dr Hum Pa Nagarajaiah.
Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva, through a release, has requested the well-wishers of Kannada language and culture, to take part in the programme in large numbers.
