Netizens abuzz as Grylls shares Rajini's TV debut first look


New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS): Twitterati were left amused on Wednesday as Discovery channel's Bear Grylls shared the first look of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's debut on the small screen in his programme 'Into the Wild with Bear Grylls'.

Taking to his Twitter handle Bear Grylls tweeted, "Preparing for @Rajinikanth's blockbuster TV debut with an into The Wild with Bear Grylls motion poster! I have worked with many stars around the world but this one for me was special. Love India. "

"@rajinikanth has always been a star with swagger! But in the wild everything is different... It was so fun to spend time with the legend and get to know and see him in a totally new way."

In the 15-second motion poster, Rajinikanth is seen with Grylls resting on the bonnet of an off-road vehicle in the forest.

The post has gone viral with Twitterati flooding the social media with their reactions. A user wrote, "That's so sweet of you...Thalaivar is an epitome of simplicity."

Another wrote, "Blockbuster he owns it and Grylls, you own the wild discoveries and stepping to the wild with the man into the wild ,can't wait to watch."

A fan gushed, "Wow thalaivar is all set to rule the TV shows."

In January, Ranjinikanth visited Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve to shoot for the Discovery channel's new programme.
