M'lore: Triple Celebration to Mark 99th Death Anniversary of Fr Muller Founder Held

Mangalore, Nov 4: The 99th death anniversary of the founder Fr Augustus Muller S J was remembered with the eucharistic celebration in St Joseph Chapel here, recently.

The eucharistic celebrations was presided by Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, Fr Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI). In his homily he stressed the importance of the day, which happened to be All Saints’ Day as well as Kannada Rajyotsava.



On the occasion, foundation stone for ‘New Library Block’ was laid and blessed by bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius P D’Souza, president of FMCI near the Academy Hall. Fr Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. 
 
Dr D’Souza also blessed and inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Carmel Hostel ‘C’ Block’. Later, Inter Batch Sports Event ‘Thunder Ball 2009’ was held at the basket ball court, which was inaugurated by the bishop.

All the Administrators, Chaplains, MC members, staff members and students were present.
