Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (SP)

Karkala, Nov 6: Among reports that naxal gangs have intensified their village visits in places like Nellikatte, Koodlu and Tingale, and that they had visited several such villages on Tuesday and Wednesday, naxal literature and banner made an appearance in Benare bus stand in Seetanadi near Hebri.

The pamphlets found in the bus stand contained slogans that make the anger of the naxals against poor quality of works, unjustified policies of the government evident, besides containing  slogans in favour of the exploited populace. Through the banner, the naxals have placed a demand for handing over the management of Oddamaraya Temple, presently managed by BJP leader, Tingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, to the local people.

Some of the pamphlets found strewn around the place also contained homage to slain naxal leader Saket Rajan and certain catchy, pro-naxal slogans.

The Anti-naxal Force visited several places in and around Nadpal village. After coming to know about the said incident, the personnel of the Force visited the spot and took possession of the naxal literature and banner.
