'Your silence is deafening': Gambhir to Kejriwal

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): After BJP's Kapil Mishra trained his guns on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, demanding call details of AAP councillor Tahir Hussain be probed, BJP MP Gautam Gambhir too has upped the ante.

Gambhir tweeted, "Throwing corpse of IB jawan Ankit Sharma in the drain after killing him, sheltering rioters at home and throwing petrol bombs! Such allegations are being labelled on a representative! If this proves to be true, neither public, the law or God will forgive you."

He added, "Arvind Kejriwal, your silence is deafening."

Unverified videos have gone viral on social media where a man appearing to be Hussain is seen with a stick in his hand, based on which both Mishra and the BJP slammed the AAP. This comes a day after AAP held a press conference to question Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The riots that began with a clash between pro- and anti-CAA protesters have caused at least 33 deaths so far including a police constable and an Intelligence Bureau staffer.
