Multan pumped up to welcome PSL, Netizens applaud


New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): A video posted by Pakistan Super League went viral on the social media. The video shows a long queue of cricket fans outside the Multan cricket stadium for the match between home team Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi.

The fans are highly pumped to welcome the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at their own back yard as cricket returns in the city of saints after 12 years.

The Pakistan Super League tweeted a series of post with the caption, "Koi aur ho ya na ho, Multan Taayar Hai!... Just look at this line outside the stadium."

In another tweet, they wrote, "Are you going to the stadium? Share your pictures with us in the reply to this tweet."

As the post went viral, Twitterati have flooded the social media with their reactions.

A user wrote, "It's been a while for them since they've seen a match in this beautiful stadium, so why not."

Another wrote, "Wow your amazing."

A post read, "Gradually Pakistan is starting their cricket in their home ground."

"Great crowd in Multan. Wake up call for people in Karachi and Lahore", a user remarked.

Multan will host three matches of PSL 5 this year. Karachi Kings will play their third match against Multan Sultans at the same venue on February 28.
