Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Nov 7: A person, who had married six months ago, was electrocuted on Friday morning, while operating a household equipment. He has been identified as Damodar Kulal (30), son of Muddu Kulal, resident of Anadka House near Nandikoor.

Kulal, who worked as the driver of a private bus operating for Suzlon Company in Padubidri, had come home after his duty hours on Friday morning. At around 10.30 am, he switched on the mixer. Electricity passed through him, perhaps because the floor was wet at the time. As he shouted for help, the neighbourers rushed into his house and separated him from the mixer. He was immediately shifted to a hospital, but he had lost his life by then.

A report has been registered with the Padubidri police station in this respect.
