Face mask made compulsory in Haryana


Chandigarh, Apr 12 (IANS): Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij, here on Sunday, said wearing face masks outside homes had been made compulsory in the state and violators would face action.

Anyone found violating the order would face action, he said and added, people could also cover their face with cloth or scarves.

Haryana on Sunday saw three new coronavirus cases, taking the total to 165. According to the health bulletin, 817 samples had been collected before April 1. But by April 11 more than 2,800 samples had been taken.
