Bangalore : One New Minister Soon, More Later - Yeddyurappa

Bangalore Dec 21 (DHNS): In an effort to pre-empt further rebellion in the party, CM Yeddyurappa on Monday said he has plans to induct senior party MLAs into the Cabinet in a phased manner after his Government completes two years in office.

Addressing reporters, he said he had decided to fill the single existing vacancy in the ministry shortly and had decided to induct M P Renukacharya.

Yeddyurappa, however, said he has no plans to drop any minister or reshuffle portfolios of the existing ministers.

Asked about the speculation that the Congress and the JD(S) are planning to form an alternative Government, he said “they have to wait for three and a half years to work out any such plans.”

BJP LP Meet

The CM said he was planning to convene the BJP Legislature Party meeting during the ongoing session to discuss issues relating to development.
