Udupi: Sahasra Chandi Yaaga at Harikhandige Concludes

Sahasra Chandi Yaaga held at Shri Mahalasa Narayani Devi Kshetra, Harikhandige, concluded on Sunday December 27, 2009 with a poornahuti, which was attended by hundreds of people and vaidiks from all over coastal Karnataka and Goa.

Guruji Suresh J Pai said that the yaaga which was held soon after the Ati Vishnu Yaaga, added to the spiritual services offered to Goddess Shri Mahalasa Narayani. There were vibrations of the highest order during these two yajna programmes which indicated the benign presence of the Almighty.



Pai thanked the vaidiks and purohits for their contribution to the yaag, and putting their minds and soul into its success. He also noted with satisfaction that the vaidiks performed their duty with all sincerety, not only during the yaag, but also volunteered to do a lot of other sevas, such as distributing food to the devotees during the anna samaradhana programmes.

Prominent vaidik Narahari Acharya thanked Pai for inviting them for the yaag at the ksehtra. The Vaidiks prayed for the health, wealth, longevity and prosperity of all those who participated in the yaag and also all the people in general.

Pai also felicitated Vedmurthy Subraya Bhat from Honnavar.
