Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Mother of God parish, Mogarnad, near here organized a Christmas concert at the parish grounds. The ward-wise drama competitions and tableau were also organized.
 

 

Political leader Dolphy D’Souza Bantwal was the chief guest of the inaugural function of Christmas concert. Dolphy D’Souza was felicitated on behalf of ICYM Mogarnad parish unit and parishioners by parish priest Fr Leo Lobo as Dolphy tried to get the union financial assistance of Rs 10 lac to undertake development works at St Anthony Primary School managed by parish administration.

Mogarnad parish priest Fr Leo Lobo, parish council vice-president Anthony D’Souza, Mogarnad parish ICYM unit animator Bro Anil, Mother of God convent superior Sr Gracy, St Anthony School head teacher Sr Enet, parishioner active in politics Steven D’Souza, Salettur Nityadar parish priest Fr Vincent Machado, Panemangalore block youth Congress president and Dakshina Kannada district Congress minority unit vice-president Steven D’Souza, Mogarnad gram panchayat member Elias D’Souza, taluk panchayat standing committee president Ida Suresh and Veerakamba gram panchayat president Intru Mascarenhas were present.
