Udupi, Dec 31:
The annual feast of Holy Family parish, Brahmavar, near here was celebrated on Tuesday December 29 and Wednesday December 30. 
 
Fr Maxim Misquith, parish priest of Stella Maris parish, Kalmady, near here was the main celebrant of festal Eucharistic celebrations held on Tuesday December 29 night.
 


Fr Marcel Saldhana, parish priest and Kallianpur deanery vicar, many priests from the deanery and neighbouring parishes also joined in the eucharistic celebrations along with Fr Maxim. The holy mass concluded with adoration to Holy Sacrament on the occasion. A large number of parishioners attended the holy mass.
 
An attractive display of fireworks was also held after the holy mass at the parish grounds, which was sponsored by Wilfred and Shalet Lewis Matapady, New York, USA.
 
Brahmavar parish priest Fr Denis Saldanha presented the blessed candles to all the families, who annually contribute towards parish burse here on Wednesday December 30.

Episcopal vicar Fr Baptist Menezes presided over the grand festal eucharistic celebrations along with Brahmavar parish priest Fr Denis Saldhana, Fr Marcel Saldanha and many priests from the deanery and neighbouring parishes were present during the holy mass.

Fr Denis Saldanha thanked all the donors who contributed for the annual feast. Fr Denis Saldanha, Fr Freddy and Fr Dominic conveyed best wishes to all parishioners after the eucharistic celebrations.

The holy mass on confraternity Sunday December 27 was offered by Fr Leslie of St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, Mangalore.
