Kundapur, Jan 3: The celebrations of the arrival of the Christ the Saviour of the world were held at the Kundapur Varado Catholic Sabha at a house among the poorest of the poor in the presence of Fr Vincent Marti’s of Sastan Church under the auspices of Kundapur Varado Catholic Sabha.
The house of Violet Dias Hangarkatte was newly furnished with electrification free of cost there by inspiring the young to cultivate the philanthropic bent of mind on such auspicious occasion as Christmas, said Fr Furtado of Kota Church. The villagers witnessed a spontaneous wave of appreciation irrespective of caste consideration.
Varado president Alwin Quodras gave the introductory speech. Varado treasurer Stany D’Silva and Johnson Almeida were present.
