Shimoga: ‘Church Attacks Engineered by Vested Interests” – BJP MP

Daijiworld Media Network – Shimoga (SP)

Shimoga, Jan 4: Member of parliament from local constituency, and son of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, B Y Raghavendra, alleged that some vested interests backed by evil designs to defame Karnataka at the international level, were behind the church attacks in the state. He was speaking at a meeting organized on the occasion of the inaugural of St Thomas Church, located near Shivappa Nayak Circle in the town on Sunday January 3.

Stage energy minister, K S Eshwarappa, who inaugurated the meeting, lamented over the fact that more and more innocent Hindu and Christian girls are being converted under ‘Love Jehad’.  Referring to some articles published in a periodical from Kerala, he said that the publication, besides expressing deep concern over the increasing number of such conversions, has also said in its editorial, that various lures are being offered to the girls from Hinduism and Christianity, to get them converted.

“Since ancient times, Hindus, Christians and Muslims have been living harmoniously in India. As far as national integration is concerned, our country stands out as a model for others. But, some miscreants have been trying to disrupt peace in the society. They try to give affect to their plans by committing sacrilegious acts in temples, prayer halls, churches etc., and the people should always be vigilant about the plans of these mischief mongers,” he advised.

Note that he was talking at the occasion of the inauguration of St Thomas Church! Why at all our clergy need to invite Corrupt Politicians for a place of prayer to be inaugurated? Are we going back to time of Jewish hypocrites? Can't we pay the cost for being living for Christ. Do we need corrupt political support? Most of these politicians send their own children to Christian Schools and tell people to be skeptics of Christians! Conversions! all B.S. Leave them alone, let us think and live for Christ alone.

This is like solving a math problem "X".. some vested interests "x" caused this problem, but the government kept the "X" problem without solving it. Police can solve unsolved murder cases, but if the government is not interested to catch the culprits, who will catch them? What kind of hogwash is this? It is very true that the state of Karnatka has taken the lead in India to persecute the Christian minority and Karnataka is known around the world for its negative publicity. Politicians are still living in the old times without knowing the reality that internet is everwhere in the world.

Mr Eeshwarappa please dont worry about christian girls getting converted. They are more safe in Kerala than in Karnataka. First of all it was foolish to invite both of you for the innauguration of the church and you are making use of this opportunity to shed crocodile tears and show pseudo sympathy.

The above episode clearly shows that BJP is losing ground under its feet. These ministers now state that some vested interests backed by evil designs have defamed Karnataka. It’s true what they said. But who are these vested interests behind the church attacks in Mangalore? When Sept 14, 2008, between 9 am and 11.15 am, around 16 churches and prayer halls were attacked in and around Mangalore, and sooner Mahendra Kumar, Bajrang Dal Convener, claimed responsibility for those attacks, our BJP govt did not allow him to be arrested nor his goons, But they were good enough to file false cases against the peaceful protestors, arrest them and put them in jail. Most of them have not even entered a police station in their lifetime.

Many of them still remember those days behind bars and the humiliation meted out to them by the police. What a hypocrisy. Jan 3, 2009, the BJP govt withdrew 11 criminal cases against activists of the Bajrang dal and Rama sene over the Dattapeetha issue. Do you need any better example than this that the BJP Govt is supporting criminals and their criminal activities? My question to Mr.Raghavendra and Mr.Eshwarappa, when the whole state knows that church attacks were done by Bajrang dal, why it took so long to them to say that these attacks were done by vested interests and knowing that who are those vested interests what action the BJP govt has taken against them? And if you have no answer, please stop barking. Let us live peacefully.

What a sudden u turn in the statement and we all have to take it in a positive mind. The enemy within is more dangerous than outsider. After all evil is evil and good is good. This fact nobody can deny it. Truth always prevail over lies. With due respect to State energy minister, K S Eshwarappa, please abstain from statement of dividing people now in the name of love Jihad. This is not at all in good taste as a minister.

Shri. B Y Raghavendra, why you say now "Church Attacks Engineered by Vested Interests” – it happened during BJP rule in Karnataka. Why putting blame on others? Just washing your hands like Pontius Pilate!
