Kasargod, Jan 4: A labourer named Bhaskaran (56) from Perladka near Kolattur Choitotti near Kanhangad was killed, after having been stung by a swarm of wasps late evening on Saturday January 2.
When Bhaskaran was walking towards the home of his sister on Saturday evening, he came under the attack of a swarm of wasps on the way. Even after he ran away and hid inside the bath room, the wasps entered the room and stung him. The neighbourers rushed to the spot after hearing his cries for help and carried him to the hospital. However, he breathed his last before reaching the hospital.
