Mangalore: 'Dirvem' Konkani Weekly Office Shifted

Mangalore, Jan 4: The office of 'Dirvem' Konkani weekly, which was located in the third floor of Emporium Complex in Kankanady in the city, was shifted on to spacious premises in the second floor of the same building here recently.



Journlaist and Konkani activist, Ln Austin D'Souza Prabhu, inaugurated the new office. Capuchin priest, Fr V J Menezes, blessed the new premises. Santosh Lobo, sub-editor of 'Dirvem' welcomed and compered the programme. Editor-cum-publisher of the weekly, John A Monis, proposed vote of thanks.

Writers, Victor Rodrigues, J F D'Souza, Eddi netto, Melwyn Rodrigues, Titus Noronha, Raymond D'Cunha, H R Alva, Gladys Rego, Konkani activists Eric Ozario, lawyer, Stanley R D'Costa and several others were present.
