Actor Sushant Singh Rajput commits suicide, found hanging at his Mumbai residence

Mumbai, Jun 14: Well known Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence here, said police sources. He was 34.

He was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on Sunday morning, and a domestic help alerted the police.

Rajput is best known for his titular role in Neeraj Pandey's 2016 release, 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', the biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

He made his film debut in Abhishek Kapoor's 2013 release, "Kai Po Che", and was seen in films like "Detective Byomkesh Bakshi", "Raabta", "Kedarnath" and "Shudh Desi Romance".

Incidentally, Sushant's manager had committed suicide a few days ago.

A team of Bandra Police rushed to investigate. They said that no suicide note was found at the actor's residence. They also added that they would be probing the incident from all angles.

Too young to go & too soon to go Sushant. We do not know the reason why, but you were so talented, you could live on boldly under any circumstances. Unbelievable you could be a victim of depression.!! Well depression, anxiety, uncertainty in life especially when you are a star, can kill a person. But this is not the way you decide to go.
May God give strength to his parents, siblings and immediate family to accept this loss and live on with his memories. It will be difficult for the parents to accept this shock I am sure.

First of all ,we don't know if it's indeed a case of suicide .

Secondly, people who are depressed do not see reason the same way normal people would see.
Lucky are those that are surrounded by people to notice the symptoms at an early stage and provide guidance.

Many suicides due to lack of thought control or negative thoughts. Simply need to love one's negative or any other worrying thoughts as and when they come, whether financial, relational or of guilt to bring up positivity and surrending them to God. Sad that a talented actor gone too soon.... Apart from being a good actor, he was a philanthropist..... Sushant donated 1 Crore on behalf of a fan towards Kerala flood relief and another 1.25 Crores to the State of Nagaland.... Condolences to his family and friends....

It's very sad, talented healthy and well of person like him committing suicide.
I can understand, farmers fallen under debt trap, businessmen fallen under debt trap, harrassed persons etc. unable to bear the torture committing suicide is understandable.
But, person like him, even for emotional health should not depend on someone who do not share same feeling for him. It's called imotional bankruptcy. Relationship always depend on mutual consent, not one sided. Committing suicide is sin!

Depression and suicide!

Either in school nor at home, it was not taught to deal with anger , emotional imbalances, failures etc..

There is an energy body (pranic body) all around our physical body. When the prana (energy) is very low our energy body starts to shrink and we feel suffocated in the physical body. This is what happens in depression. When the energy is too low, we feel like breaking out of it and suicidal thoughts come. Think being stuck in a very tight jacket, you want to break free.

What to do? Increase our energy, our prana. This is not physical energy, this is spiritual energy.

How? Meditation, Breathing Techniques specifically Sudarshan Kriya, Pranayama, Yoga and some knowledge increase our energy. Eating healthy, exercise, spending time in nature, sun exposure, spending time with loved ones..all these help too.

If hemoglobin in our body is low, we do something to increase it, right. Similarly, if prana is low, we can take steps to increase it. So if you ever realise that you are feeling low, please reach out.

Go and learn Sudarshan Kriya, it's being taught online now. Don't suffer in silence, and please please, don't take your life.

What a shocking news. So tragic that life doesn't give you second chance. He had everything that people only wish they'd but he didn't have was that hope which he needed the most.

But there should have been someone who could have played that special role of motivating him through whatever he was going through that led this brilliant actor do this. Unfortunately no one seemed interested because Bollywood isn't a fraternity anymore. Condolences 😢😢😢

Great talent full of energy. One he took off from the tv serial 'PAVITRA RISHTA' there was no looking back for Sushant. No doubt he seemed a bit reckless with his love life I felt. Can't blame because he was immensely good looking and dashing. A great dancer having progressed from the stables of Shiamak Davar. Gave his best in all his films. Sad to lose him so early. I agree with you... Loneliness is a killer n gets worse when u live all alone with no friends n family around... N worst of all cannot socialise and nobody wants to even talk to us... I was going through a terrible phase then switched over to music as a diversion and started praying... Nobody understands the pain and loneliness... All try to avoid and ignore.... Only a person who has gone through all this will understand... Only the fear of hell and judgement has held me back.... And life drags us to a situation where we keep waiting for death .. natural death ..

Only profession that is surviving in this pandemic is politics and politicians. COVID has not effected them any bit as they have locked themselves in safe rooms and protection.

We saw lot of TV/movie stars killing themselves in the past few weeks. Maybe their commitments to banks and other institutions are more or they are not getting their old dues.

But the migrant/common man is worst hit and their deaths are not counted. Even the Supreme court said there is no compulsion to pay the wages.salary during the lockdown.
