Farewell to beloved priest and welcoming new priest is emotional moments in many parishes. However this year it is bit different. Many elderly could not personally meet their beloved priest. Shifting the belongings also needs manpower and social distancing is not easy. Moreover, during farewell and welcoming ceremonies there will be compromise as emotions takes charge. One of the above photo is an example. Considering the increasing cases and risk, specially asymptomatic cases, it would have been better if priests transfers postponed. All the best to our dear Fr Cyprian and all priests. Good health and peace.
