Nithyananda Wants to ‘cleanse’ Self in Ganga River

Nithyananda Wants to ‘cleanse’ Self in Ganga River

Lucknow, Mar 16 (DHNS) : In the dock following a video expose showing him having sex with a Tamil actress, self-styled godman A Rajasekharan, alias Paramahamsa Nithyananda on Sunday made a dramatic appearance at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Hardwar, Uttarakhand, where he said he wanted to ''bury'' his ''past in the sacred waters of the Ganges''.

In a brief interaction with the media, Nithyananda who checked into Room 104 (air-conditioned) at Hotel Lee Grand at Ranipur on the outskirts of Hardwar, termed all allegations against hims as ‘lies’.

The room was booked by one S K Tewari, according to the hotel manager. Believed to be a disciple of Nithyananda, Tewari did not even submit his identity with the hotel reception. Nithyananda, who checked in on Sunday night left in a huff for an undisclosed destination after the local media got the information and reached there. Now a fugitive from the law, Nithyananda is believed to be constantly changing his location in the vicinity of Hardwar.

There was a brief altercation between Nithyananda’s personal aides and the media after the godman tried to keep the media persons at bay and prevented them from asking questions. “I am being falsely implicated....it’s all lies...the truth will come out after the investigation is complete,” said Nithyananda, claiming he was “innocent”.

“I don’t know the people who are conspiring to implicate me... I am being held guilty even though the investigation is on,” he added. “No case against me has been registered anywhere...there are only allegations and no charges have been filed against me,” Nithyananda, against whom the Tamil Nadu police has filed two cases -- of cheating and criminal intimidation -- claimed.

Nithyananda, however, said he did not want to talk about the past. “I do not want to talk about the past....I have decided to start afresh...dropping my past in the scared Ganges and starting afresh,” he said when pressed further.

It was not clear if Nithyananda would take a dip in the Ganges on the occasion of the third shahi snan (grand bath) on Monday though a disciple of his said the godman would take a bath in the river. Till late on Monday evening, he was not spotted at the ghats where hundreds of sadhus and thousands of people took the holy dip.

The Mahakumbh Mela administration officials had cancelled the allotment of land to Nithyananda after the video came to light and protests were organised outside his ashrams in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Nithyananda is likely to face strong opposition from the seers and sadhus gathered at the Mahakumbh after the All India Akhara Parishad recently expressed concern at ‘fake godmen' and decided to identify and expose them.

Let us keep God in His place and human being in their place. Be alert when somebody makes the claim  that they are demigod, ignore it.  Also, when they ask for money  for the spiritual service, that
is the solid sign of spiritual  adulatory. All the great saints  had a very simple and humble   lifestyle, their abode was simple  structures, when they left the   world, they had nothing valuable.  But see the modern gurus: they   are mega business people with millions of dollars worth of  property and other investments.  They will never admit the fact  they they are business people  using religion, but we blindly  follow the sign board of   "religion" and being duped.

We are approaching these gurus for sprititual enlightment, and   they have put a price tag for  service, and we found no release  from the burden of life, so repeating the same march. Nobody  has to pay a penny to receive  peace and salvation when they  approach the "God incarnated".   Jesus said " Come to Me, all you who  labor and heavy laden, and I will  give you rest" Mathew 11:28. The  heavy burden of guilt and sin   can be erased instantly while  meeting Jesus Christ, and there is  no price tag on that heavenly  promise of Jesus. Simply tell  Him, and life will be changed  for ever, and that is the sure
      cure to our spiritual search.

Can he be able to wash the crimes that he committed rape & murder of a Canadian woman, sexual asaults on innocent male & female devotees, few of whom committed suicide, threat and black mail on other victims, if he have bath at the Ganga? If it was a case with a minority what you think the situation would have been?
He is free & giving statement one after another and our law could do nothing to him. So sad.

If everyone can cleanse their sins by dipping in ganga river, then what's the meaning in praying to God. Make sins and put a dip in Ganga. What a rubbish statement by Mr. Nitya Ananda (Daily Happy)

Give him a chance to live like a normal human being. If he admits, repents for what he did and takes an oath to be a decent person hereafter, allow him to live a fresh life. I know his followers, devotees wont digest this, but past is past, you can not correct it. Look forward and be cautiouos in future about self proclaimed god men.

Disgusting Character. After so much of things against him is prooved, still he says he is innocent and all stories made to spoil his image. Now he is going to GANGA to dirty the clean water with all his SINS. Why no one is catching him. He could have been caught in HARIDWAR or when he went to GANGA RIVER.

I am sure there is lot of politics going on and certain Political Leaders don't want him to be caught as they are also involved in this racket and supporting this Crooked Idiot. When Ranjitha herself saying she was going to Swami to do his SEVA how he is denying ?

The only safest place for you is to be away from Tamil nadu and karnataka. I am pretty sure u shall not be coming back to southern states until the dust is settled down in the name of kumbh mela and dips in ganges. You have committed a unholy act being a holy person in the eyes of the people following blind faith. I want to praise you for coming out honestly and admitting that you were in the video.

You definitely are not a coward or u would have fled to your american ashram by now. I appreciate your no give up attitude in testing times. But please stop fooling people that u r in haridwar because of the so called kumbh mela.
