Udupi, Apr 15: Junior Artists Manipal under Manipal University will organize a exhibition of paintings by Dr Gunasagari Rao, at Vibhuthi Art Gallery, Chitra Kala Mandir, Jangama Mutt, near city bus stand, here from Sunday April 18 to Tuesday April 20.



Professor Sripathy Rao, dean of Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal will inaugurate the exhibition on Sunday April 18 at 10.00 am.

Peter Lewis, renowned artist and former chairman of Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy, Bangalore will preside over the function. K L Bhat, director of Chitra Kala Mandir will be the chief guest.

About Dr Gunasagari Rao



Dr Rao is the student of P N Acharya, senior artist of Manipal University and art teacher of Manipal Junior Artists, Manipal University campus.  Dr Rao is working at KMC Manipal, as an associate professor in Psychiatric social work, since 1982.
