Bangalore: Justice Somashekhara Commission Gets Extension

Bangalore, May 1: Justice B K Somashekhara Commission of Inquiry, set up to probe church attacks in Mangalore and elsewhere in the state in 2008, has been given an extension of three months in its term. Its term was to expire on April 30.

Secretary of the Commission had earlier written to the government, seeking an extension of six months, as the task of examining various witnesses is pending. This is the fifth extension given to the Commission.
