Beltangady, May 3: District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar alleged Congress Government of resorting to unscrupulous means to win the upcoming gram panchayat elections disappointed with good showing of BJP. 

He was speaking at the BJP workers meet at Ujire Srisharadha Mantap, here on Saturday May 1. Palemar said voters are intelligent enough and do not get influenced by the malicious remarks of the opposition. He called on the party workers to build the image through making public aware of the achievements of the government.

Vidhan Parishat member Kota Srinivas Poojary informed that according to third finance Commission report the gram panchayat will become autonomous. MP Nalin Kumar Katil said that the workers should be proud to be a part of BJP. 

Taluk unit president Sharada R Rai welcomed the gathering and taluk panchayat member Vijaya Gowda compered the programme.

District BJP president Padmanaba Kottari, district vice-president Kushalappa Gowda Poovaje, district organization secretary Prasad Kumar and taluk unit chief secretary Narayan Achar among others were present on the occasion.
