Kundapur, May 4: Paddu Poojarti (52), a resident of Manur Padukere, who was waiting for a bus near Tekkatte bus stand, was killed when a bus that deviated from the road, knocked her down on Monday May 3.
Reportedly, the bus, which was moving towards Udupi from Kundapur, was being driven at great speed recklessly. Poojarti sustained grievous injuries and succumbed on the spot.
On a complaint filed by Basava Poojary, brother of the deceased, a case was registered in Kota police station.
