Why only Bangalore for each and everything?. Is it a port city like Mangalore??
At least allocate 2 to 3 thousand crores for a monorail project in Mangalore. Bengaluru already has a metro and moreover after work from home population has reduced.

I believe Bengaluru Sub-urban Rail project is not required as Metro is already being implemented across the city. Metro is completed across few stretches and planned across other stretches in city. Again Sub-urban rail is also for same places within city. Why there is a requirement to duplicate? Its waste of money. Instead of that improve Metro services and try to complete pending work quickly. Also as most IT/BPM companies have decided to come up with Work From Home policies, it will definitely reduce traffic congestion in Bengaluru (infact already reduced considerably)

Right now Mangaluru is at the mercy of Smart City contractors. Beyond Jyothi, preferred mobility is by foot to reach State Bank or Bunder. Such is the detour arrangement. If any other project comes up simultaneously, it's better be outside the city.
