Mumbai: 24-year-old youth from Vasai drowns at dam, body found

Mumbai, Nov 19: A body of a 24-year-old was recovered from the backwaters of Tungarli dam near Lonavla. The deceased, Amit Gupta was said to had gone to Lonavla with his brothers and friends on Monday, November 16, the police said.

On Wednesday, a rescue team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) recovered his body after search.

"A rescue team of Shivdurga Mitra Pratishthan and NDRF found the body on Wednesday," Sunil Gaikwad, a member of the rescue team said.

The deceased was a resident of Vasai.
