Mangalore, June 14: Seeyalabhisheka (tender coconut water offering) for Lord Manjunatha to beseech betterment of the world was held by local leaders in association with various organisations at the Kadri Temple here on Monday June 14.

The temple tantri offered the prayers. MLA N Yogish Bhat lighted the lamp. Entrepreneur A J Shetty, Kannada Sahitya Parishad Dakshina Kannada president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Mangalore City Corporation opposition leader Ashok Kumar D K, temple executive officer Ningaiah and chief priest rama Adiga were present.

Thousands of tender coconuts were used to offer the service.
