Byndoor, Feb 5: A young engineer died after losing balance and falling from an under construction building. The incident happened at Bada near here on Wednesday, February 3.
Anugraha Shetty (28), the victim, hailed from Kavadi near Saligrama in Brahmavar taluk. An entrepreneur is building a house at Bada and Anugraha Shetty has visited the entrepreneur there to discuss the matter of remote control window screens and remote gate technology. He was leaving after discussing the matter but returned to the spot and went up the stairs where he received a mobile phone call. While speaking on the phone, he lost his balance and fell down from the first floor. He suffered serious injuries. Even though efforts were made to get him treated immediately his life could not be saved.
The deceased was the son of Chandrashekhar Shetty from Kavadi. He has left behind a sister and mother.
