Udupi: Rashipuja celebrations are enhanced by pictures captured on camera – Kodavoor Prakash G

Udupi, Feb 26: Rashipuja Seva Samiti of Shanker Narayana temple Kodavoor and South Kanara Photographer’s Association, here, held a competition on photography titled ‘Dondi Belakina Rashipuja Mahatsovakke Chayachitra Sangathya’ (the company of photographs taken in the light of torch for Rashipuja festival). The temple managing committee president, Kodavoor Prakash G who distributed prizes to the winners said that the photographs captured in the camera have multiplied the celebrations of the festival.

Another guest of honour JCI Swarna Udupi president, Sudeep Shetty said that the photographs taken in torch light have come out extremely artistic. “The photographers really deserve congratulations.”

Competition winners Pradeep Uppoor, Prashanth Kemman, Srikanth Udupa, Damodar Suvarna and Sachin Poojary were presented prizes. Member of Udupi zone and currently elected as member of Badami panchayat, B M Bovi was felicitated. Zone honorary president Shiva K Ameen was present. Astro Mohan was the judge.

Rashipuja Seva Samithi secretary Janardhan Kodavoor welcomed the gathering. Zonal president Prakash Kodankur delivered the keynote address. Raghavendra Serigar compered the programme. Sukesh Ameen rendered the vote of thanks.
