Mumbai, Mar 10: An autorickshaw crushed into a teenager and instantly claimed his life. Dilip Yadav (24), the auto driver tumbled the autorickshaw down a construction pit excavated for drainage repairs. The incident occurred on Tuesday March 9 at Ambhujwadi slum in Malwani.
Yadav reportedly took his father's auto for a spin but was not well versed with driving, and lost control.
Wasim Ansari, the 17-year-old teenager who lost his life was said to be walking along the road when Yadav's vehicle rammed into him. Although Ansari was taken to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
Yadav was charged for negligence and rash driving by the Malwani police and also booked under Motor Vehicles Act.
