Mangaluru, Apr 13: Under the guidance of Ullal station house officer, Sandeep, police sub-inspector, Shivakumar and his team succeeded in arresting a person who has been accused of flashing his private parts at a woman. The arrest was made within an hour from the receipt of complaint.

The arrested accused happens to be Muhammad Arif (27) from Pilar.

The lady was moving towards Kuthar Junction via Vishnumurthy temple at Kuthar for work, when a youth wearing a cap and mask who was walking on the road, slid his trousers even when continuing to talk on mobile phone, and exposed his genitals.

The lady, who grew panicky, rushed into the nearby tailoring shop and sought help. When the people at the spot became aware of what he had done, the man fled from the spot. The photograph of the accused was then captured by a car driver.

It is said that the accused had behaved in this way with the said woman even in the past. After the lady's mother filed a complaint at Ullal police station, the police identified and arrested him in an operation within an hour.
