MLA U T Khader escapes unhurt as car meets with accident in Davanagere

Davanagere, Apr 14: The car in which former minister and Mangaluru MLA U T Khader, was travelling in, met with an accident near the service road of Anagodu bus stand on Wednesday April 14 morning.

Khader was on his way to take part in the electioneering for the Belagavi Lok Sabha bypoll. When passing near the humps at Anagodu, his car hit a container truck moving ahead. The front portion of the car
was badly mangled in the accident. Khader escaped unscathed.

After the accident, Khader returned to Bengaluru. Superintendent of police, Hanumantharaya, visited the accident spot and undertook scrutiny.

    Cynthia, I got the location. That compound belongs to Jeppoo church believe. It's a road infect. Next to that house is Modern Cement concrete works. The road further down and 1st right turn leads to my mother's house. It also goes to highland and kankanady.

    Hi, Is that lane opposite to Mangala hotel or beside Retreat House lane I.e. behind Roshsani Nilaya ? My mothers house our enlistees house can be reached from the lane opposite to Mangala hotel. So nice from Daiji readers and cross comments strange personalities we are almost close to know each other. We will meet personally in the near future 🤝

    Flavian, its the same lane where your Mangala is ! Lane Opp to Fatima Retreat centre, on the left side Mangala situated. Just few steps further down on after Mangala..(same lane) this tiled house you get home made food.....its called Maria nagar right ? Yes.....give your appetite one more try alongwith dolphin and Mangala...

    Cynthia, How come you reached that area. You are fro Kirem. That lane beside Roshani Nilaya Institute. My birth place close to Rtpshani Nilaya. That lane is called Suares lane I believe. Today you made me have some great memories of those days. Coorgi atmosphere 👌Even Mangala bar n restaurant have nice items including sorpothel. Now I live in Bijai. Otherwise I spent 28 years in Highlands, valencia, Jeppoo in the center place called Bishops compound. The world is small and unless we talk we cannot identify each other.😆

    Agree....world is very small. People connect somehow or the other....isnt it ? Yes... one of our froends friends suggested that place for home made food. You are right...few steps down from your Mangala hotel same lane....place is clean and its a tiled house....We come to Mangalur for various reasons....for medication....for shopping....visiting relatives....visiting sick and so on....

    Accidents can happen to anyone when you are on the road. It just happens unless it is fatal we have to strugof. Mr UT Khader has helped many people when there was a accident on the road. This time it is his fortunate time to receive help and also some humane comments from general public instead of stone pelting.

    Truck not hit car, Car Hit truck from back it means mistake of driver. Need defensive driving skill test then only appoint the driver, may be he thought truck is escort vehicle before.

    Sanjay Sheney mangalore,kindly dont comment without knowing the exact cause.On our mangalore roads accidents are so common.noone drives as per rule.Everyone wants to over take and be the first.So may be truckdriver must have topped the truck so that car driver couldnt stop and hit naturally.Important is no casualty.Hardly one survives during accidents.Thank God no casualty.

    Humps which are illegal and unscientific are the reasons for the accidents, there are no signs indicating humps.It is really god's blessing that our beloved MLA escaped without any injury.God protects the good person for their good works....

    Flavian...why to go to Dolphin? There's a lane Opp to fatima retreat centre...if you walk down few steps on that lane, on your left side you find a tiled house where you get all the delicacies that you like...its home made food....you will 😉 enjoy. Try next time...

    Sudden ....Road humps and Road barriers in highways without any warning is a nightmare for drivers .. hope the highway authorities and local police who erect this barriers are made responsible for these kind of avoidable accidents.
