Karkala, Apr 24: A man killed himself by consuming poison at Nadibettu of Bola village in the taluk.
The mortal remains of the deceased were found in the midst of the forest at Nadibettu. The deceased is identified as Prabhakar Poojary (50), resident of Karkala Mala Hukratte.
A death note is also recovered at the spot of suicide in which it is written "I am responsible for my death. Forgive my children."
A case in this connection is registered at Karkala rural police station.
