Bantwal: Police arrest one for selling liquor illegally

Bantwal, Apr 24: Police arrested one person in connection to sale of liquor illegally and seized 6 litres of liquor on Saturday April 24. The police were on rounds when they found empty packets near a shop. When raided the place, they found 6 litres of liquor.

The arrested person is a Beedi shop owner Chandrahasa (25), a resident of Anathady Darkastu.

The police team consisted of Vitla PSI Vinod Reddy, probationary officer ASI Manjunath who led the team Prasanna, Prathap Reddy, and Vinayak.

The police team also found liquor stored behind the shop in boxes.

As many as 67 tetra packets of Mysore Lancer 90 ml and cash Rs 150 has been seized. Police have registered a case.
