Bengaluru: Renowned Kannada movie producer Ramu passes away due to coronavirus

Bengaluru, Apr 26: Renowned film producer, Ramu, husband of Kanasina Rani fame actress Malashree has passed away due to coronavirus.

Ramu was one of the leading film producers of sandalwood. He was hospitalized after testing positive for coronavirus a few days ago. He was being treated at a hospital in Bengaluru where he died without responding to the treatment.

Ramu had produced Lockup Death, AK47, Kalasipalya and other hit films. A legend in the Kannada film industry, Ramu's career spanned over 3 decades. Several renowned artists of sandalwood expressed their condolences on his sad demise.
