Karkala, Apr 28: “The distribution of free spectacles is one of the social works by Rotary Anns Club known for noble work as their motto,” said Rotary Anns Club president Rotarian Ramitha Shailendra.
Rotary Anns Club Karkala and Yuvaka Mandala Kolake Irvathur held a free health camp in the village earlier. Free spectacles were distributed to 48 beneficiaries under this programme.
Panchayat president Kavitha Shanker presided over the programme. Shekar Anchan, president of Hamsaraj Yuvaka Mandala rendered the vote of thanks. Rajendra Poojary, president of Enjoy Friends compered the programme. Panchayat vice-president Anita Kulal, Bharath Jain and panchayat members took part in the programme. Irvathur villagers were present.
