Bengaluru: State government opens Agri war room to benefit farmers

Bengaluru, Apr 28: The state government has opened the Agri war room again as in the case of the last lockdown period so that the 14-day lockdown may not be a hindrance for farmers or agricultural activities.

The minister of agriculture, B C Patil stood as a backbone just as in the case of the previous lockdown period.

The minister of agriculture directed the department and the officials to not create problems for the supply of agricultural tools, materials and agricultural activities.

Telephone numbers 080-22210237 and 080-22212818 will work as helplines between 8 am and 8 pm from April 28 in the Agriwar room. The office is manned by two technical officers and a deputy director of agriculture to oversee the functions.
