Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Apr 29: Some journalists had requested their association president Srinivas Nayak Indaje to arrange for lunch for journalists as hotels are closed due to lockdown. Therefore, the association has arranged a gruel lunch for journalists at Patrika Bhavan from April 30. District executive member of the association, Bhasker Rai Katta will oversee the arrangement. Those who intend to obtain the lunch facility can contact Bhasker Rai on telephone no: 919741158710. Lunch will be available every day between 12.30 pm and 2 pm.

As the corona pandemic is spreading rapidly, journalists need to look after their health by wearing masks and maintaining social distance.

“Journalists facing health issues can contact the association president or chief secretary and obtain assistance,” stated Ibrahim Adkastala, chief secretary, Dakshina Kannada district working journalists association.
