MLA Rajesh Naik visits Bantwal taluk hospital to inspect facilities

Bantwal, May 11: Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik visited the taluk government hospital on Tuesday evening for a surprise visit and obtained details about the facilities at the hospital from the taluk medical officer.

166 people vaccinated:

“The vaccinations for people between 18 and 45 years have begun in the hospital on Tuesday. 170 people had registered their names and 166 people among them were vaccinated,” said medical officer Dr Pushpalatha to the MLA.

23 people admitted:

23 Covid infected patients have been admitted to the taluk hospital. The MLA obtained their details and enquired about their health. He sought details on the food and medicines that are being provided to the patients and asked the medical officer to ensure that there are no lapses in their treatment. The MLA further told the medical officer to reach out to him directly if the need arises.

Dr Venugopal, Dr Kishore Kumar, Dr Saumya and Dr Pavana were present.
