Brahmavar, May 15: The state government has imposed lock down till May 24 in order to bring down the number of coronavirus infection cases in Karnataka. The people who are the most affected due to this lock down are those who does not have a shelter to stay. However, there is a ray of hope for such individuals in the form of like-minded individuals, who form a team and provide them food and water.

In a similar effort, a team of youths of Brahmavar in the taluk are providing lunch and dinner to homeless people under the limits of Brahmavar. They are getting numerous calls already. If anyone comes across homeless person finding it difficult to have food in around seven km area from Brahmavar town they can contact the following numbers. Food will be provided to such people by the team led by Giridhar Pai.

The mobile numbers to be contacted are Giridhar Pai – 7829799977 and Varun Pai - 9632588183. This service is available from Wednesday, May 12 till the lock down period gets over. Timings of food supply will be 12 noon to 2.30 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.
