Mangaluru: Spike in Covid cases, containment zones also on rise in DK district

Mangaluru, May 15: The second wave of coronavirus is causing enormous issues in the state as well as the district of Dakshina Kannada (DK). As the number of Covid infected patients is rising, the areas that are converted into containment zones is also on the rise.

In the past four days, the number of containment zones in the district has shot up to 132 from a mere 50. On Friday, May 14, 15 more areas were declared as containment zones.

There are 56 containment zones in Mangaluru, while Beltangady, Sullia and Puttur have 21, 10 and seven respectively.

26 new cases of Covid positive were reported from Kallagudda in Beltangady taluk. Dr Ashok, nodal officer of Dakshina Kannada said that the number of Covid cases is rising in the district since mid-April.

The district health department has given instructions to city corporations and gram panchayats to tend to the essential services of people living in containment zones.

Directions are also given to Asha and MPW workers to keep track of and monitor positive cases daily and also the primary and secondary contacts of the infected people.

    Cheaper covishield to blame? Looks like Instead of giving protection these vaccines themselves spread virus mutants. These hurriedy brought out vaccines instead of pilot testing in one or two districts in one or two states for a month or two with emergency medical care kept ready and then if all fine then go for mass vaccination rest of the country, was the correct way. First of all what testing these communist vaccines gone through God only knows or whether vaccine or placebo used in testing is a question? There was a precedent, In UK after the vaccination started, cases and deaths had severely increased. Instead of Stopping vaccination and check wheather cases go down, people rushed to vaccination centres because of fear of virus deaths. Now cycle continues and not stoping. This is all ruthless elites and communist preplanning, first mild virus, then common cold / Flu or covid19 detecting RTPCR tests, so to much hype numbers, then medium live virus in name of vaccines to deadly spread it more to raise fear so to lead more people for vaccination, then in future stronger virus to eliminate vaccinated people with compromised immune system. All for making Billions of Dollors through vaccine and online business. Same time depopulation and communist control of the world using viruses and vaccines. As per one of Divine messages similar thing was planned during SARS pandemic 2009 but then some whistleblowers got it stopped but this time communist mainstream media / Big tech censors any alternative views on vaccines because of billions of dollor business involved and also looks like commission in millions to promote these vaccines and so, many have happily or unknowingly promote this scourge in the name of public protection.

    Today, towards the end of my shift, I video called the relatives of a patient who is not going to make it. We usually do that in my hospital if it’s something they want. This patient’s son asked for a few minutes of my time. He then sang a song for his dying mother. He sang Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi. I just stood there holding the phone, looking at him looking at his mother and singing. The nurses came over and stood in silence. He broke down in the middle but finished the verse. He asked her vitals, thanked me and hung up. Me and the nurses stood there. We shake our heads, our eyes moist. The nurses went back one by one to their allocated patients and attended to them or the alarms of vents/dialysis units. This song is changed for us, for me at least. This song will always be theirs.
