Mangaluru: Konkani novel 'Pattim Gharak' released

Mangaluru, Aug 17: At Matha Kripa Hall, Kaikamba Gurpura, a Konkani Novel of 206 pages titled 'Pattim Gharak' authored by Melwin Manjanakatte, published by Samanvaya Prakashana was released on August 16, 2021 by Fr Antony Lobo, parish Priest of Pompei Church, Gurupura in the company of Dr Pius F Pinto and Dr Ronald Cutinha.

Speaking on the occasion Fr Antony stressed the need to create an interest among the children to read Konkani literature. Dr Ronald Cutinha welcomed the gathering, Dr Pius F Pinto introduced the author and the novel.

The author Melwin thanked all those who helped him to write the Konkani Novel being his third novel. Stella Pinto, founder trustee of Matha Kripa, poet Walter Albukerke, Alwyn Pinto and Lancy Pinto were present on the dais.
