Shivamogga, Aug 17: Home minister, Araga Jnanendra, said that he has plans to create lists of incapable and corrupt persons in the state police department. He said that once the lists are prepared, care will be taken to ensure that they do not get posted to good police stations.

Speaking to media persons, the minister said that this is very important from the point of view of increasing the efficiency of the department. He also wanted a people-friendly environment to be created in police stations. "We have already issued necessary instructions to the police chiefs. Police stations should not turn into centres where rules are broken and compromise formulas are worked out," he stressed.

At the same time, he said he wants to provide further facilities to the staff of the department and that he will take steps in that direction.
