Udupi, Aug 17: "Countries like Afghanistan are the best example for anarchy, without proper leadership, democracy, stable society and a strong leader or military. Subjugating internal enemies of the country is as important as defending the country from external attacks. Hence, we should be careful about these kinds of attacks," said Narendra Babu president of BJP’s other backward classes (OBC) morcha.
He was speaking after inaugurating BJP’s executive meeting, held at BJP office Kadiyali here on Tuesday August 17.
He further said, "This year we have celebrated the 75th Independence Day. Everyone should understand importance of freedom. It is our responsibility to help the people who are deprived from opportunities.
"We can win only when we are united. People from other backward communities are deprived from the opportunities. Defeat is not our failure. It makes us even stronger. So, the youth in OBC Morcha, should reach people in the rural areas and create awareness on the programmes of the government," Narendra Babu said.
Kuilady Suresh Nayak, district BJP president, presided over the programme.
General secretary of BJP Yashpal Suvarna, BJP national OBC morcha Ashok Murthy and others were present.
