Bengaluru, Aug 18: BJP national general secretary, C T Ravi, criticized Congress leaders of relying on falsehood to tarnish his image.

"Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working presidents, Ramalinga Reddy and Dhruvanarayan, and spokesperson, Laxman, have been mouthing false statements and trying to project them as true. I have already discussed the proposal to file defamation suit against Ramalinga Reddy and others who have claimed that I had caused the accident by driving the vehicle in a drunken state. To this malicious propaganda, I had issued clarification on the same day that I was deep asleep when the said accident happened at around 11.30 pm on February 18, 2019. I came to know about the accident only after the airbags inflated. Immediately the police and the ambulance were called, and after sending the bodies and the injured people to hospital, I went to Vikram Hospital Bengaluru as I had pain in the backside of my head and chest, and got admitted there," he stated.
