Mangaluru: 228 Kerala students with negative certificates turn positive within days

Mangaluru, Aug 19: 228 students from Kerala studying in different colleges in Dakshina Kannada district have tested positive for coronavirus infection during the last ten days. With the situation worsening in Kerala, it is also being reflected in Dakshina Kannada.

These students had come here from Kerala with negative certificates. They had come here with negative test reports to appear for examinations. They underwent RT-PCR tests here and were found to have been infected with the pandemic.

Separate arrangements have been made for the examinations of the infected students. Health department sources said that they are being quarantined separately.
