Kundapur, Aug 19: “The oxygen plant producing 500 litres oxygen per minute is ready at Kundapur government hospital. As the minister of petroleum is scheduled to inaugurate it, its operation is postponed for a few days,” said union minister Shobha Karandlaje.

She was speaking after inspecting the oxygen unit costing Rs 60 lac installed at Kundapur government hospital on Thursday.

Release of Harish Bangera was fortunate

“The release of Harish Bangera in Saudi Arabia was difficult. He was arrested after allegations that he had insulted the ruler in social media. Strict action is being taken ordinarily for any statement against the ruling family. Harish Bangera was in jail for many days and there were several efforts for his release. We are glad that he was released after the truth was proved,” she said.

Kundapur flyover inaugurated by public

“The MLA here does not come for any inauguration. MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Kiran Kodgi and others have requested to facilitate traffic on the highway for people to go to the government office at Bobbaryanakatte. The matter is being informed to national highway authority officials,” he said.
