Udupi: Kasturba Hospital Manipal awarded with Nursing Excellence from AHPI

Udupi, Aug 24: Kasturba Hospital, Manipal won the award for Nursing Excellence from AHPI -Association of Healthcare providers (India) for excellence in healthcare for the year 2021.

Dr Sharath K Rao, dean KMC handed over the award to Dr Suba Sooria, head- Nursing Services, C G Muthana - COO, Dr Avinash Shetty - medical superintendent and Dr Suneel Mundkur, advisor, quality implementation, at Kasturba Hospital were present.

Association of Healthcare Providers (India) AHPI as the representative body of Healthcare Organizations in India each year recognizes and celebrates the excellence achieved by the organizations in the healthcare industry in various fields. This award is granted to the hospital, who maintain international standards in all areas of nursing care like patient care, patient education and awareness, nursing resource management, quality of nursing care, communication and guidance, and infection control practices.
