Mangaluru: Konkani Natak Sabha celebrates 78th annual day

Mangaluru, Sep 28: The 78th annual day of Konkani Natak Sabha was celebrated on September 24 with a concelebrated thanks giving Mass at St Ann’s Friary chapel.

Konkani Natak Sabha president Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza, capuchin, was the main celebrant for the Mass.

Fr Richard Quadros, Capuchin, delivered the Homily. After the Mass, members’ get-together was organized in St Ann’s Mini hall.

Konkani Natak Sabha president Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza, vice president Liston D’Souza , general secretary Floyd D’Mello, joint secretary Praveen Rodrigues, treasurer, Gerald Concessao, pro Raymond D’Cunha were present on the dais.

President Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza welcomed the gathering and wished the audience on the occasion.‘MulugeniWokkalu Rakshana Vedike (R)’ donated Rs 25,000. They were honoured with a shawl and a memento.

General secretary Floyd D’Mello organized games for the crowd. Prizes were distributed to the winners by Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza. PRO Raymond D’Cunha proposed the vote of thanks. Fr Roshan Capuchin blessed the dinner.

Angelore unit leader, Joseph Pinto compered the get together programme. The programme concluded with the Konkani Natak Sabha Anthem followed by dinner.
