Mangaluru, Oct 2: South Canara Photographers’ Association (SKPA) Mangaluru zone commemorated the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the 117th birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri at Gandhi Park in Mannagudda here on Saturday October 2.
On the occasion floral tribute was offered to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
Later, zonal vice president Vasanth Rao's 80th birthday was celebrated by cutting a cake and offering mementos.
Honorary president Jaganath Shetty, former district convener Vittal Chowta, zonal president Madhu Mangalore, vice president Nikhil D' Souza, secretaries Shrikanth Tilak, Naveen Kodikal, district secretaries Harish Adyar, Ajay Kumar, treasurer Mukesh Shetty, sports secretary Sandesh Acharaya, former zonal presidents Padmanabha Suvarna, Lokesh, Kurnakar Kanangi, representatives and zonal members were present during the occasion.
