Mangaluru: Derogatory video on Mahatma Gandhi - DYFI, Ullal block Congress urge arrest of youth

Mangaluru, Oct 3: It is alleged that a youth put his WhatsApp status of Mahatma Gandhi dancing with a girl for an edited song of Tulu language on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

DYFI and Ullal Block Congress have registered a complaint in this regard with Konaje police station to take stringent action against the erring youth.

Prajwal, a resident of Harekala village is the accused. It is alleged that he edited the video to the tune of ‘Sajjige Bajil’ Tulu song.

MLA U T Khader condemned this incident and urged that this youth who has committed treachery should be arrested and legal action should be taken against him.
